FAQ

Are your products available in English?

Yes! All of our potion kits include both French and English instructions directly inside the box — no language selection is needed.

For our magical letter subscriptions, the language can be selected directly on the product page before purchase.

Are your potion kits handmade?

Yes! Our magical potion kits are carefully assembled in our Canadian workshop by our small team.

What is the purpose of our magical potions?

Our magical potion kits are designed to help children believe in their abilities with an approach based on kindness and magic. In addition to featuring different magical themes, our kits address various challenges in a child’s daily life. Some potions can help them discover what makes them unique, boosting their self-confidence. Another kit might help them embrace their fears, an emotion that isn’t bad in itself but can sometimes prevent us from trying new activities and flourishing.

In our regular kits, you’ll find three instruction cards to create three different potions. The ingredients have been carefully selected for their color, texture, and scent to offer a delightful sensory experience. Children are often encouraged to smell the aromas or dip their fingers in the liquid to awaken their senses. Once the potion is complete, it can simply be poured outside to invite fairies and other magical creatures into your garden. They will be drawn to the magic of the fairy dust!

What do our kits contain?

In our regular kits, you’ll find at least five different ingredients, three instruction cards to complete three distinct potions, an index of magical ingredients, and a card to create your own homemade potion.

Ingredients:
The ingredients vary from one kit to another and are carefully selected to match each theme. They consist of elements commonly found in most homes or sourced from our beautiful Quebec forests.

Instruction Cards:
Each kit allows you to create three different potions, which means it can be used over three separate occasions to extend the fun or involve three different children. These cards are much more than simple instructions—they transport you into a magical world with scenarios, fantastic stories, and Quebec legends.

Ingredient Index:
To master the art of potion-making, it’s important to know the properties of your magical ingredients. That’s why you’ll find a description of each ingredient in the kit, along with a list of their unique properties.

Card for Creating Your Own Potion:
If you follow the instructions, there should be some ingredients left after making the three potions. With this 4th card, your little wizards will actively participate in creating their own magical potion. They will develop creativity, problem-solving, and focus. Feel free to add your own homemade ingredients! Small rocks make great dragon eggs, flower petals are loved by fairies, and small branches make the best magic wands!

Can the potion be consumed?

Although the ingredients are non-toxic and 100% natural, the potions are not meant to be consumed.

What about allergens?

Of course, we avoid the main allergens listed by Health Canada. The issue of allergens is close to my heart as my own son is allergic to peanuts. While allergens are not part of our ingredients, we cannot guarantee that our kits are free from traces. Some ingredients themselves carry the label: "may contain traces of..." If you or your little wizard have allergies, please contact us to discuss. One thing is certain, there are no peanuts in our home!

What is the target age for our kits?

The regular kits are designed for children aged 3 to 9, although some teenagers (and even adults) have purchased them for fun! Why ages 3 to 9? Because at this age, children still believe in magic and fantastical creatures! For two-year-olds, we don’t recommend the regular kits as they contain small parts, which could pose a choking hazard. Additionally, younger children may have trouble following the instructions and tend to dump the tubes all at once (speaking from experience!). For this age group, the mini kits are more suitable, allowing them to experiment more freely with the ingredients and their magical reactions.

What should you do with the potion once the activity is finished?

Some children are so amazed by their potion that they might not want to part with it right away. You can store it in a small mason jar for a few days. To preserve the potion's magical properties, you can dip an object into the liquid to absorb its magic. For example, after completing a friendship potion, dip your friendship bracelets into it!

Since fairy dust is often the main ingredient in our kits, you can pour the potion directly outside to invite fairies and other magical creatures into your garden. They will be drawn to its enchanting scent and the magic it radiates! The ingredients are 100% biodegradable (yes, even the glitter), so there is no harm to the environment.

What type of container should be used to make a potion?

We recommend using a small bowl about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. With a wide opening, you'll have a better view of the magical reaction and its bubbles. If you want a more impressive reaction that might overflow, use a bowl with a narrow opening.

Can they be used in the bath?

Although some ingredients are the same as those found in bath bombs, we do not recommend using them for this purpose. Our potions have not been tested for such use. Additionally, the magical reaction won’t be as impressive in a large amount of water.
